Find out Why Systems Are Important To Your Entrepreneur Business

This last week has definitely been an interesting week to say the least. It’s been a great learning experience for my entire team and me.

We now have everything up and running smoothly now and we made sure that redundancy is built into the system so this will never happen again.

What we learned from this experience is that we must have a tight system in place for everything. We thought we had a system in place but found out there were a few holes and thus we had to react to the situation.

The better solution is to be proactive.

As Entrepreneurs we don’t always have the luxury of being proactive. However most of things we do are reactive and being more proactive up front can eliminate many reactive things.

You won’t always be able to do this because we’re all human.

And because we’re human we can’t predict the future and all the possible events that could happen to us. Be gentle on yourself when something doesn’t go the way you planned or expected it to work. Just learn from it.

The system we had in place worked well for many years without even a hiccup until last week.

That made me think…

Wouldn’t it be a good idea just to check and make sure the systems we have in place are still good.

That’s exactly what we did.

It’s a good idea to check your systems regularly to ensure there isn’t something that requires updating. Who knows… we may have been able to prevent the situation all together. And then… maybe not.

The key is, as we grow we have more experience and that’s the time to look at what we’re doing and how we’re doing it.

As Entrepreneurs we get paid for the value we provide. So doesn’t it make sense to update what we have in place with the new knowledge we acquired?

You bet it does.
